Do you find yourself waiting for someone else to light up your life? Your lover? Your parent? Your child? Your friend? Your boss?
It’s all around us all the time. Reminders of the false belief that our light is in someone else’s hands. We see it in commercials and movies and songs like (all together now): “You light up my life. You give me hope to carry on…” and “You make me feel like a natural woman” and on and on and on.
(Okay I know I just used two song examples from the 60s and 70s, but you catch my drift -- wait isn't that a saying from the 60s and 70s too? Ugh!)
